The BMW i8 is a German sports car, presented to the public for the first time (still as a concept car) in 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Serial production of this model started in 2014 and is still ongoing. It is concentrated at the BMW AG plants in Germany, in the city of Leipzig.

The BMW i8 is a true avant-garde car on many levels. First of all, it uses a hybrid system of gasoline and electric engines with a total power of 362 HP as the drive, which reduces fuel consumption to 2.1 liters per 100 kilometers! The car is also characterized by a well-balanced center of gravity, very good aerodynamic properties, as well as a body style adapted to this. Plastics reinforced with carbon fiber were used on a large scale in the creation of the body. The BMW i8 can accelerate to 250 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.4 seconds.
